The counter is free. Not free for a while, and not free until you hit a limit. There is no ad in it, there is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to use any of it.
Plus costs $9 a year, or $25 once. It adds one thing: your counts follow you to your other devices. If you only ever use one phone, you do not need it, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
What you get for nothing
All of it. This is the whole counter, and none of it is time limited.
The list below is a promise rather than a description of today. Anything on it that later moved behind a payment would make every other page on this site wrong, because they all say the counter is free.
- The counter, with no ads and no sign-up
- All 22 dhikr, each with its hadith, number and grading
- The post-salah sequence, complete
- Your daily wird
- History and stats, kept on your device
- Works offline
- Backup and restore to a file you keep
- All 55 guides, in every language they are written in
What $9 a year adds
One thing, and it is the one thing a browser cannot do on its own.
Everything the counter stores lives on your device. That is why it works offline and why nothing you count reaches us. It is also why a new phone starts empty, and why a lost phone is a lost history unless you exported a backup file yourself.
Plus pays for a server to hold that file for you and hand it to your next device. That is the entire feature, and it is the only part of this site that costs anything to run per person.
- Your counts on every device you sign in on
- Cloud backup, so a lost phone is not a lost history
- Restore onto a new phone without moving a file by hand
What the alternatives charge
Worth knowing before you pay anyone, including us. These were checked on the App Store in September 2026 and are United States prices.
The pattern is the interesting part. Most direct competitors are free apps whose paid upgrade is mainly the removal of their own advertising. That is a real cost to you and it is worth avoiding, but it is not a feature.
There are no ads here and there never have been, so the main thing this market sells is already yours for nothing. We cannot charge you to switch off something we do not do.
- Tasbih Counter Pro. Free, with a Tasbih Pro Plan from $2.99 to $9.99, and Remove Ads at $0.99.
- Tasbih Counter Lite. Free, with Remove Ads at $5.99 and $8.99.
- Muslim Pro. Free, with yearly premium tiers from $29.99 to $49.99, and a Premium Version No Ads at $14.99.
- Tasbih.info. Free, with no ads to remove. Plus is $9 a year or $25 once, and it buys sync, not the absence of advertising.
Why there is a lifetime price at all
A subscription on a dhikr counter is a strange thing to ask for, and most people reading this are not in a market where $9 a year is nothing.
So $25 once exists, and it is the better deal after three years. It is offered because paying once and never thinking about it again suits this kind of tool, not because the yearly price is a trick.
Do you need an account?
No, and that is not going to change. The counter has never needed one and does not need one now.
An account exists only so that sync has something to sync to. If you never sign in, nothing about the app is different, nothing is locked, and nothing is stored anywhere but your own device.
Signing in uses a link sent to your email. There is no password, which means there is none of ours to leak and none of yours to remember.
What happens if you stop paying
The counter keeps working exactly as it does now, because it is the free tier and it always was.
Sync stops, and your data stays on the device it is already on. You can still export it to a file whenever you want, the same way you could before you ever paid.
Nothing gets held hostage. A dhikr count is not something to hold hostage.
